Will you find some souvenirs from France at Charlottes brocante in the 16th? Why yes there will be thanks for asking

How about some plaques from a hotel in Lyon? Of course you will need the flags that wave from them.
Or maybe some round metal signs? I say bullseye to that.

You could also go the route of botanicals plucked from the fertile ground of France in the 1800s.

And a few bottle carriers for all those French lemonade bottles. A biento

Another day another look for you dreamers....

I adore bread boards in any shape and size with all my heart. Imagine me when I saw these with monograms at Le Mans. I knew they would come home to be with you all stateside.
Grain sacks from Isle sur la sorgue. Love them always with that dark black writing. The zinc epi de  fault age would have had a place of honor on top of a French house. Now it can have the place of honor at your house.
A chateau curtain pull! Yes yes and yes.
And little plaques of buttons from days gone by.Just because we can. Until tomorrow.

Black and white delights at Charlottes brocante.....

Top hats with monograms and vests lounging on hangers that say vestments. So tres chic.
And the way they hand write the people's names and dates on them is a 10 on the swoon worthy chart.  It's what all the best dressed mannequins will be wearing this season.
These Limoges plates from the south of France tell it like it is in black and white....
Oh and these confiture pots do too. There you have it in black and white.Bisous to you.

Oh and maybe a hat box or two😍

Can you BEElieve Charlottes brocante is in 12 days?

Friday the 16th is coming soon! Today is the day I start every day sneak peaks. These old wax sealing sticks are the bees knees. I like them laying on the documents just like this.
I am also loving  the way these old canning jars have zinc across the lids and French writing on them. I have one full of wooden spoons on my counter in the kitchen. The little French things are my favorite.
Oh and speaking if little sweet French things I love the small size of these lemonade bottles with porcelain tops. I am so glad I am among people who love sweet little French things. You all make my job so easy. See you tomorrow for another peak at the brocante.
